Hi there, my name is

Jenna Cauchi

I am a former elementary school teacher who decided to become a stay at home mom after having my second child. I began this business journey by reselling my own children’s clothing, researching and discovering the best quality and durability for little ones at play and for special occasions. I then started consigning for other mothers locally through social media platforms to build capital and source the beautiful pieces you see in Asdelia Mae Boutique. My love for children’s clothing is my passion and I look forward to sharing it with the community.

Asdelia

During a time of little documentation, the story of the name Asdelia begins during a dark time in the Philippines during which my grandmother tragically lost her parents to war. She was adopted by friends whose last name, Asdelia, she took as her own as a symbol of resilience. As she bravely started a new life in America, she married and raised five strong daughters. Her daughters, my aunts and mother, embody her spirit. All of them mothers in their own way, sharing love and strength throughout their own journey seeking to honor this great woman. The name Asdelia has been passed down, including my daughter, Quinn Asdelia, taking on new life but always a reminder of how far we have come.

Mae

Another special person in my life, Grandma Boyd, but first known as Beverly Mae. She shared her gifts as a lifelong nurse, healer, and pillar of faith in her community for years. Her most important role was a mother of three boys and fiercely loved them all through all of life’s ups and downs. As she fought her own battle with dementia, her love and strength was a constant reminder that life is about keeping these memories of family and love close to your hearts. I couldn’t imagine a more fitting name to carry with me and share the beauty that surrounds our every day.
